● Alkaline shrinking machine in open width
● Immersion area
● Circular expansion area, using mercerizers with chain
● Washing and neutralizing area
Application
Suitable for alkaline shrinking process of cotton and its blended knitted fabrics
Energy consumption
● Output: 8-11 tons / 24h.
● Water consumption: 6-8L/kg of fabrics.
● Electricity consumption: 35-45 kW/h.
● Steam consumption:0.5-0.8kg/kgof fabrics.
Advantages
After the cotton product is Immersed in light alkali, it is loosely stacked to make the fabric shrink, then the stable width is fixed by a certain needle. Finally, the caustic soda is washed away and the cotton product enters next set of scouring, bleaching and dyeing process. The alkaline shrinking makes the fabric surface close to the mercerizing luster effect, and at the same time have a more "musible" texture, which increases the fabric density and ensures the elasticity, and uses a shorter process to achieve a process effect similar to but different from mercerizing effect!
